Profession tax registration

07 March 2020 Dear Sir,

I am receiving sms and emails for registering with PTRC and PTEC. I am only registered with GST. Came to know that all people who are registered with GST are getting such emails but not liable to register with Profession tax since they don't have any employees.

What should I do.

08 March 2020 Profession Tax Registration is still required for the registered dealer in GST. There are two type of liabilities under PT- One for the Business Concern and other for the employees.

08 March 2020 For PTEC registration I agree. But I am not liable to register for PTRC as I don't have any employees.

09 March 2020 No problem, then apply only when, you will be having an employee, provided the state law permits you to do so.
