Processing of income tax return for ay 17-18

17 July 2017 Hello Collegues,
I have one query. I have filed Income Tax Return in Form ITR 4 for AY 17-18 on 1st week of June 2017 & e-verified through Aadhar OTP. But it is not yet processed. Can I know the time limit within which Income tax department completes the processing of Income Tax Return and dispatch the refund....?

17 July 2017 This year processing of return gets delayed against last year it was processed in just 10 days of filing. I fell now it will be processed within 60 days of filing.

17 July 2017 Yes sir. Few days before I have filed belated return for AY 16-17 & it was processed within 15 days but return for AY 17-18 has not yet processed which was filed in 1st week of June. Can you tell me possible reasons for such delay?

17 July 2017 Last year due to earlier processing of return TDS deductions and self assessment tax paid not considered while processing, that may be one of the reason for delay in processing.
