Procedure to get tax refund in case of change in jurisdution

my friend is a salaried employee recently he changed his residencial address due to change in address his jurisduction has changed.But he is eligible to tax refund. what are the consequencies he as to fullfill to get tax refund.

14 June 2013 You can change the jurisdiction for speedy refund Firstly, you must intimate in writing to your previous jurisdictional officer about the change in address & location from Tamilnadu to Karnata. 2. The said acknowledged copy of the letter must be attached and presented to your new jurisdictional officer incase the returns are filed manually. 3. You can also change your address from your login registration on the website www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in. 4. Lastly, get the address changed through duplicate PAN card request by enclosing the new address proof and the letter as stated in 1 above. This would end the process. You can also manage and skip one of the steps as stated above, but its advisable to follow all to ensure fool-proof transfer of jurisdiction.
