10 June 2015 I have registered in State VAT now want to purchase from another state seller asking for C form, can i buy from without C form or if with C form how to get it

10 June 2015 Which State are you talking about?
Yes you can buy without C form but in that case you will be charges full vat rate suppose 12.5% but if you submit c form you will get goods taxable only @ 2%

10 June 2015 Sir Buyer is from Chhattisgarh (vat rate is 14% /5%) want to purchase from Kolkata, how can i get the C form

10 June 2015 Yes i am not aware about Chhattisghar VAT but in some state like delhi you can obtain C form only after filing the vat return so it takes around 7 months to obtain C Form as its online but in some vat like UP where manual c forms are available there you can obtain advance C forms from the department so you can hand over the C forms immediately to party so it depends upon chhattisgarh State rules
