what is the procedure of becoming CA after cpt?

register yourself for IPC exams.Once you clear your 1st group of IPC you can start your articleship of 3yrs.Contact your regional office for more details.Else visit www.icai.org

apply for IPCC. Clear atleast group 1 of IPCC. It is advisable that you clear both the groups. Complete Orientation programme and ITT. You can Start the articleship after clearing Group 1. You need to complete GMCS 1 within first 12 months of your articleship. go for GMCS after completing 18 months of articleship Register for CA finals. You can appear for CA final exams after completing 2.5 years of articleship.

After CPT completing ITT and OT training,
Completing 36 months of articleship training after completing 1st or both groups of IPCC, then completion of both GMCS and preparing for CA finals...
Finals will be due on completion of 2.5 years of articleship ..
