Procedure for creation of family trust ?

14 June 2012 hello everyone,

one of my client want to form a family trust.
i do not know the procedure.There is not immovable property involved.

kindly let me know the following
1. how many trustees are requried to form a family trust ?
2. can one person become settler as well as trustee ?
3. Amount to be brought by the trustee ?

16 June 2012 1. Choose the location you want it to establish.
2. Survey the area, whether it is municipality or Corporation or village panchayat.
3. Register it first with the State and Central Government.
4. You can find every information regarding this in Indian Government's Website.

procedure of registration:

A trust needs a minimum of two trustees; there is no upper limit to the number of trustees. The Board of Management comprises the trustees. Application for Registration : The application for registration should be made to the official having jurisdiction over the region in which the trust is sought to be registered.
