Principal forcing me to take termination

04 December 2010 I am Final student & my articleship will complete within next four months. But my principal is not allowing me to continue in the office since I took some more days( exactly 10 days without sanction but informed)for the nov 2010 exam. Principal forcing me to take termination in medical ground...ie my 3 months will freez...to punish me...But i dont want termination....wht can i do...can i complaint to institute...? pls help me..

05 December 2010 In My personal opinion, You cannot complain to the Institute as their is a mutual agreement between you and your principal as per form 102 , and either party can terminate the agreement.

Best way is to convince your principal to let you continue the remaining period.

05 December 2010 they are not allowing even to continue in the office...they r trying to spoil my future...wht to do...I have to waste my 2.5 years of articleship...

07 December 2010 Yes you can complain to the institute.
Termination of articleship is not at the discretion of either your principle's or your's.
Articleship can be terminated only on some grounds specified by ICAI.
