In PVT LTD / LTD company if there is no business in first year than company are allowed to w/off 1/5 preliminary expenses ?

No, the company can get amortisation benefit only after commencement of business. In case business has not been commenced in first year than company is not allowed to w/off 1/5 preliminary expenses.
