22 December 2013 i recently qualified as a ca..i would like to know whtether there is scope in practise in future..as most of the young people prefer doing jobs rather than business..or shall i do job

22 December 2013 it is better to tyake exp for some time then go for practice..this are my views the final dec should be urs.

22 December 2013 Rightly said. Before going to practice you should have good experience.

And practice and job both have equal opportunities.

22 December 2013 my view is that if you are confident about your abilities and if you have done some decent work during articleship, then go for practice.

Too many fresh CAs have gone into jobs, leaving a huge void in number CAs going for practice. If you check ICAI numbers, in FCAs around 80% went for practice. however, in ACAs, the number is around 20%.

So in near future, you got a great opportunity in practice. But yes, its a hard road and requires a lot of input in form of time, knowledge and skills to create a successful practice for yourself. So in case you really want to go in practice but not very sure immediately, try and join some practicing CA and Don't go for a job in industry.
