I am wanted to become a successful practicing chartered accountant can any body suggest do’s & don’ts for the same.

Hi Suresh, I may not be the right erson give you advice but there is no harm in doing so if i am in right direction.
As per my experience (as my friend is in practice only) The major point to be a successful COP holder is:
1. Tieup with IT department
2. Expert communication skill
3. Good corporate relations
4. Merger with existing firms
5. sell yourself through Internet i.e. have a website.
6. Always have skilled work staff.
7. Make pesonal interaction with your clients periodically
8. "Be ready to face failure"
