can any one plz tell me while doing audit of manufacturing co. what records regarding excise(maintain By store) shud check. & how to check accounting of excise in financial books.(in Tally)

first check Raw Material register known as Form IV.
after that check daily stock register in this you will get op stock, production, sale and cl stock. this should be for every material.
in production there will be stock register in which material issue and production made will be entered. Check it will Form IV.
RG 23A part I to be check for every entry you can tally it wil RG 23A part II for duty credit.
See monthly return most probably ER-1. tally it will all these registers.
