29 August 2010 DURING CURRENT FIN YR I.E. APR 10 TO AUG 10 I HAVE depositED RS 80000.00 AND SBI HAS ACCEPTED THE SAME? WHETHER I WILL GET INT FOR THE SAME? IF NOT CAN I ASK FOR REFUND OF EXCESS AMT RS 10000 IMDTLY.

29 August 2010 You have to ask for the refund immediately from the SBI and no interest would be provided on the excess amount deposited by you in the bank.

29 August 2010 yes maximum deposit pa should be 70000/- no interest will be available in excess of that amount .
