POST OFFICE MIS INTEREST ARE EXEMPTED FROM TOTAL INCOME ?

No, Interest on post office MIS is taxable under the haed Other Sources
04 June 2011
However benifit of 80C can be availed on the amount deosited. Interest received is taxable.
