28 November 2009 Hi experts,

We filed one return of the firm on 30/9/2009(e-filing) and we took print of the acknowledgement on the net and on that it is speciphically mentioned that within 60 days it should reach the destination(one address)through ordinary post,we forgot to post .......is there any penalty for that....by 2mrow 60 days will complet....2day&tomorrow no post office...please can u tell me remedy for that/////////...can we give it by hand on monday....please give reply..

28 November 2009 You can refile the return ( aftrer making adjustments as to interest u/s 234 A , if any, ) on the portal and take the print out of ack and send it to Bangalore address within the time stipulated.As u can always file the return after the due date with interest u/s 234 A , if any, upto 31 March of the relavant assessment year

28 November 2009 You have to file your return onceagain with that data and also as per Mr. Amitabh says you have to calculate interest u/s 234A if applicable otherwise send the same
