19 April 2013 Plz clarify whether CS is under MD of under Board of Directors i.e. in organisational chart where he is to be shown?

19 April 2013 Actually the position of CS is depend upon the specific contitution of that particular organisation but
CS comes under the Board of Directors in the Organisational chart.

There is no fix rule for CS reporting. Usually a CS is responsible towards the board of directors and MD is the head of board of directors.

In some companies CS is also reposting to CEO and CFO, so there is no fix rule.
