is there any provision for appointment of polling officers for AGM by Board of Directors?

06 September 2013 Kindly refer section 179 read with section 184 and 185. It is power of chairman to appoint scrutineers to scrutinize the votes given on poll.

06 September 2013 Sir, what if Board before AGM wants to appoint 6 directors for the election work and they form an election committee?

is it in practice in India. I have seen this procedure outside India
