Before I ask u something, Let me make u aware of my present and past first. I have done my graduation (BS) and passout of 2006. After I got into job, as family circumstances did not allow me to get into higher studies. I was good in academics, but was also lacking the guidance; otherwise I would have opted for some professional course after 10+2 only. I worked in secretarial domain (not legal but co-ordination) for whole 3 years and then made funds so that I could invest them in my marriage. Now I am married and of 26 years, thanks to God as I have got a very well established family, cooperative Husband and I am not lacking financial back up. Right now, I am working as a Executive-Coordination in Finance & Accounts and planning to pursue some professional finance course. Leaving job is not a issue for me. The thing is I want to see myself at better position. Please advice accordingly.

I would suggest you to join some financial course which truly complement your present knowledge in finance and account stream.

Now the question of short or long term course. CA is a very good option but you may find it a bit lengthy due to 3 years articleship. Another options are IFRS course, CPA, CFA etc.

Now decide yourself keeping in view your future vision. My personal recommendation for you is to join CA, truly a professional course and i know you can easily manage the same.

Even I am trying to get into CA only.... I know its the course....BTW, u percepted right that I am finding it lengthy....haha... but anything to earn the prestige in Corporate....Could you please give me the guidlines for how to crack CPT?....Is there any need to go for coaching and all?....What is the right time to resign from the current the job as I know that Articleship is mandatory? Also, I want to know if how could I finish off this course in minimum duration subjected I would really work hard on it!!!....
