Physical invoices vs soft copy

Dear Experts, Is it mandatory to maintain physical copy of Invoices? Cant it be maintained in softcopy? Can any1 please share the section reference as per company act & Incometax act. Thanks In Advance

Thanks Sharma Ji My intentr was different, Can we maintain Books of accounts /Invoices w.r.t Soft copy? Is it mandatory to withheld hard copy of invoices? Cant it be stored as softcopy matter?

Yes, soft copy are allowed, should be original.
