Hi,
Need your kind advice.
Should one with gross salary of Rs. 34500/- become eligible for Pf & ESI.
Basic Pay =10,350.00
Special Allowance=14,400.00
Medical Reimbursement=1,250.00
Leave Travel Allowance=1,725.00
Transport Allowance=1,600.00
HRA=5,175.00
Please suggest what could be the salary structure and payslip template in Excel.

as on today ESI limit is 21000 on gross hence not eligible for ESI but as basic salary is below 15000/- in this case he is eligible foe EPF. also even if salary is more than 15000/- but employers is ready to deduct and contribute than there is no objection from EPF department.

PF Limit Basic+DA Rs.15000 salary Since your BASIC less than Rs.15000/- Employer can either restrict Maximum PF to the extent of Basic+DA Rs.15000 or he can exempt you from deduction if your salary Exceeds Rs.15000/- full PF it all depends on organisation policy.

Thanks for your reply, but I get this info on few website that for PF eligibility criteria is where Basic + Special allowance < 15000. Please clarify.

if allowance is not Specified than same they will consider for PF Salary
