if an employee is having basic salary of Rs. 30,000/- per month,
what is the PF amount to be deducted from his salary????
Pls reply.. its urgent

12% on Basic salary Rs.30000

but one Pf consultant said me that, employer has right to stop his contribution after Basic salary goes beyond Rs. 6500/-
and the section 6A doent give specific instruction regarding what to do??

Only pension fund contribution has such limit of 6500 not for Provident fund scheme
