Is it mandatory for a company to make PF deduction from each & every employee where some employees are not interested to make payment for PF (Provident Fund) ?

08 March 2013 if baisc salary is above 10,500 then there is no need to deduct PF

08 March 2013 Sir, This is 6500 instead of 10500.

Has it been increased or it was a typo error.

09 March 2013 Thank you for your answer Mr. Gupta Sir, but we are a middle level printing company having only 68 nos permanent employees and our basic salary is Rs. 5000/- . Even we have some employees who are drawing only Rs. 5000/- as salary per month and such employees are interested to make payment regarding PF. Accordingly we do not make any deduction for PF from their salaries. We only deducted PF from those employees who are interested to make payment for them. Now my question is as we are not deducting PF from our all employees are we are violating any law regarding PF or are we are liable to pay any penalty for that ?
