Personal loan against nsc

19 April 2015 Hi,

I purchased Rs1,00,000 worth of NSC VIII Certificates in FY2014-15 and I will deduct the same amount under Section 80C for my IT Returns. I wanted to know, if I can use these same certificates, for which I have claimed tax deduction, as collateral to get Personal Loan?

I would appreciate any expert in this field, who can answer my query.
