10 May 2012 Sir, I am in CA FINAL and writting a book on ISCA(mics), I want to know that can i write? I mean is permission from ICAI required for the same? Plz also tell about Copywrite requirment and PROCEDURE..

31 May 2012 if u r developing the content then no copyright required, however if u were copying from the institute material or any article- pls check the material is copyrighted or not then u can use it.

No permissions required from the icai as you are not a member.

also mention in the notes that the material is not copied from published sources & does not infringed the copyright act.

01 June 2012 Thanks onkarji, plz also tell how to copyright it and how long time it takes in practical. Can i take reference from modules of icai, since it is a basic taxt book and presents syllubus of subject. I saw that Anu series has fully copied practice manuals and madan and other writer also taking answer as same as given in module.
