hi
i have query about pension.
what is the procedure to produced life certificate for family pension.My mother is getting family pension as my father worked in bank.i lived in chennai how to get the address of pension office in cheenai.i scarched in all india pension web site i didn't found an address for it.pls help in this regards.

In fact, after retirement, there is no one to one interaction before release of monthly pension. So as a matter of periodical checking, once in a year (every November generally), the pensioner is obliged to visit the designated officer to show that pensioner/nominee dependent (as the case may be) is alive. In case, you are unable to appear due to bodily illness or infirmity and desire the payment through a representative, produce a life certificate to your designated officer. Otherwise, the pension may be stopped.
