31 July 2012 my friend mother received 2 pension one of her husband's muncipal pension rs. 15000/- and her won service of mtnl rs 18000/- per month she had paid education loan to her son ( my friend) who is now in u.k. for higher studies.
now my question is is she eligible for 80e educ. interest for makin g payment of education loan to his son. last f.y she has closed this education loan and paid interest.

pls urgent
