11 September 2009 If an individual have to file a nil return for the f.y 2006-07,will he has to pay first penalty by challan 281 in the bank and afterthen he can file the return or not ?

If I have already file a return of f.y 2007-08,will I can fill the return of f.y 2006-07 or not ?

Pls guide me

11 September 2009 You can not file the ITR of FY 2006-07. It could have been filrd upto 31st March,2009 with penalty. But now it can't be filed.

12 September 2009 I want to Know If I filed NIL return on before 31st March'09 would I need to pay Penalty or not ?
Pls Ans this Urgently, if my business started from F.Y 06-07 and Now I want IT Return for Three (3) Yrs Wii its Possible ?

Pls Guide me Detailwise

12 September 2009 You can not file ITR for FY 06-07. I am not understanding why you want to file NIL return. It is not going to help u in anyway, nor will create any problem. Just file two years return. And yes for FY 2007-08, you will need to pay the penalty even if the ITR is of NIL.

But Sir I just Missed to file Return of 06-07 I have filed upto 05-06 & want ot fill till 08-09. So, I want Complete from 06-07 to 08-09(all IT Returns) and Secondly I want this Latest 3 Returns for Housing Loan bcs Bank Want that.
