10 August 2007 You should always go with Bare text of AAS & AS cos they'll be helpfull for you in future run. yes for practice you can refer to Rawat & M.P. Vijay Kumar. Both books will give you lot of sum for practice and these cinsist of past year exam questions also. All the best.

10 August 2007 as far as the auditing standards are concerned go for the bare text.
in the case of accounting standards refer to rawat. bare text in this case will be a bit too much for PE2 standard.
