i want to ask i had joined pe2 in july 2005 i got attempt of nov 2006 i failed and now joined pcc and articleship on 6th august 2007 . now what is my nearest attempt? can i give exam in may 2008 or nov 2008 will be my attempt or thereafter please clarify

Appear in Professional Competence Examination (PCE) If worked for not less than fifteen months as an audit assistant three months prior to the first day of the month in which examination is held; and completed 100 hours ITT.

i have rceived registeration letter in which it is written that i can give exam in the nearest attempt of pcc as i was eligible for pe2 and without requirement of articleship completion of 18 months i can give exam please clarify
You have transited under the scheme and hence you ned not join articleship first. Then you have to pass PCC Exams and the necessary rules of articleship will apply. Your attempt should be May 2008 as November attempt is over.
