My friend has cleared PE1 in May 06 and gave PE2 in Nov 07 but failed to clear it.Now, he has converted to PCC and started articleship from 1/3/08. When is he eligible for PCC exams? Is there some definite period of articleship he has to serve before being eligible for PCC?

he has to complete 18 months of articleship, which consist of 15 months of actual articleship and 3 months of complusory study leave.

There is still confusion. All those who have converted to pcc after attempting nov 07 got letters from the intitute stating their attempt is due on nov 08. There is no mention of articleship period to be served. Even the latest announcement of the institute makes a distinction between those who have converted to pcc after attempting pe2 and those who did not attept pe2 at all.
