Hello Sir,
I Have one client. who has purchased house with her cousin brother as a partner.
now brother wants to sell his part to her.
this transaction is within 6 month.
is that my client (Lady) has to further pay the stampduty and regestration fess.

In of lady desiring to purchase property, there is exemption of registration fees only if they are the sole holder or in case of joint holders, both are ladies.
There is no exemption on stamp duty.
