Is there any notification that salary and wages have to be paid by cheques to all employees.
Can somebody please reply and solve this query of mine urgently.

No there is no such rules.
But the payment should be below Rs 20000/-
But the payment should be below Rs 20000/-

In case the payment exceeds Rs. 20,000 per person, then such payments should be made through cheque. Payments below Rs. 20,000 can be made through cash also.
