Payment of service tax

27 July 2013 i am finding problem in payment to service tax, enough space is not available for typing the email address on axis bank gateway.

Please guide how to proceed for the payment of service tax.

Also tell whether payment of service tax is compulsory to pay online or can we pay by challan into bank also.

27 July 2013 Now e payment of service tax and e filing of service tax return is mandatory where the service tax paid is rupees ten lakh or more in the immediately proceeding financial year including the adjustment of Centvat credit.

If your email is that much long then you create another short e-mail and pay tax online with ease.

27 July 2013 Sir, its my first year and i need to pay only Rs.3523/- of service tax and my email id is not that long, its prajapaticomp@gmail.com, this much email id is also not getting accepted. Can u please website name from where to pay service tax online.
