Payment of income tax without filing of return of income

13 April 2015 Respected sir,

I have not filed return of income of A.Y.2011-12 yet. Consequently, i have received letter from department regarding to submit online compliance procedure and tax liability has arised in the same year.
Is it possible to submit compliance without filing of return??
whether it can be paid tax without filing of return??

14 April 2015 1. Compute your tax liability.
2. Pay your tax liability
3. Prepare the income tax return mannually.
4. File the return in income tax jurisdiction
5. Get ack
6. Login your online account
7. Go to the compliance tab
8. Enter the ack no.

You cannot submit compliance without filing return.
You can pay the tax, however, it will not be considered unless you file the return.
