PAYMENT NOT RECEIVED FROM BUYER WITHIN 180 DAYS

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
If a buyer has failed to make payment for over 180 days, you may need to escalate the issue. While the GST department cannot directly collect payments, you can use the GSTN portal's communication features. Consider registering as an MSME to benefit from delayed payment guidelines. Remember, Input Tax Credit (ITC) may be reversed if payment isn't received within six months.

15 January 2024 You can also think about registering as MSME https://msme.gov.in/faqs/q33-what-are-guidelines-delayed-payment-dues-mse-borrowers. There are lot of benefits here.

On collection of taxes paid by you - You can use the inbuild option to communicate between taxpayers in GSTN portal. ITC To them will also be reversed if the payment is not within 6 months / 180 Days
