Payment made but invoice not booked 31st march 2o11

We have made payment in the month of feb'10 but we have forgot to book invoice before 31st march 2011, we submit balance sheet . for current year what is accounting effect . Amt is below 30000 It is professional fees.

If the amount is small looking into the size of the company then you can charge it to the relevant expense head in current year.

in what manner you shown the payment in feb 10 in such case, if you had made made the payment just enquire it hasnot been booked in expenses a/c directly, ther it will be showing advance in name of professional
