02 August 2012 The option for providing alternate email id is not available in the incometaxefiling site now.can anyone knows why this happened?i had send mail to validate@incometax....but no reply...

03 August 2012 for resetting password why you required alternate email id. by using PAN details or E filing acknowledgment number& bank a/c number or Secret question you can reset password your own. after reset the password. login and in profile you can change your email id details also
