12 March 2011 Dear friends.
Is Registration is compulsory to partnership business ?.Can we carry on partnership business without registration ?. If yes, with whom we have to register, please help me out.

12 March 2011 Not compulsory. Can be registered with the Inspector General of Registrations formerly known as Registrar of Firms of the respective state.

13 March 2011 Registration of Firm is optional. It can be registered under the registrar of Firms of the relevant state as rightly said by Sir B.C. Warrier.
