06 March 2013 A firm made a deed of Partnership by ,aking on Stamp Value lesser than required around 9 months back.
Now its PAN already issued , whats the way to correct the same mistake???

09 March 2013 I think its not correct to have supplementary deed, as earlier deed is not valid to support.??

15 March 2013 As per Stamp Duty act if you have not utilised proper stamp then , only due to this reason earlier deed does not become invalid or illegal.

It is advisable to apply for Registration of Firm with Registrar of Firm of Respective State at district level after purchasing balancing stamp of current date in the NAME OF FIRM and donot make any writing on it.
Normally stamp authorities allow such mistake and do not charge any penalty.

I have handled such cases successfully in past .

In my opinion supplimentary deed is not necessary.

17 March 2013 Thanks can now i make new deed or just purchase balance amount Stamp Papers and keep in record
