Partnership deed

This query is : Resolved

13 October 2019 Hi,

So our partnership deed has 2 dates.
One on which we mentioned when we made the deed.
Other is the date of franking.

Bank is not allowing it as they want a single date on the deed.
The PAN card has the date of when we made the deed.

So we are stuck as to what can we do about it to open a bank account.
Is it a very big problem?

14 October 2019 Bank need not insist for single date if franking date is earlier and deed date is later.

15 October 2019 The date of stamping can preceed the date of agreement, but not the other way round. Furthermore, the validity of stamping should also be checked. In the state of Maharashtra stamps are valid only for 6 months. You may check your State's Stamp Act as well. Usually banks do not deny without reason.
