Whether, an application for PAN of a firm can be made with partnership deed written only on a Rs. 10/-stamp paper.

In my view, Min duty is Rs 500/- for the Deed. PAN card Application may be rejected if you use Rs. 10 Stamp Paper.

(It may some times happen that you have to spend Rs. 100 for obtaining a Stamp Paper of Rs. 10)

What is the meaning of applying such firm's PAN which does not want to incur the necessary legal expenses of at least Rs 500/- towards stamp paper.
