one of my friend is working as an employee and he wants to apply for part-time COP.
Can he sign the audit reports and appoint an article??

He cant take part-time cop, if he wants pratcie then he has to go with full time cop.ICAI will not give cop for parttime, only for full time only...

However; I can understand the problem of your friend. In initial years; many fresh CA face such problems for LIVING EXPENDITURE.
If he really wish to engage himself in the profession ultimately; then he should first of all make arrangement with the current employer to convert his job into "retainership" i.e. in the form of advisory capacity (although he would be able to continue ....).
But, first of all he should go for COP.
After taking COP; he has to raise his bill every month on the present employer for SERVICES PROVIDED.

Agree, you can choose either full time job or COP .
