23 August 2014 Dear Professionals i have taken my costing classess from parag gupta sir and i wanted to whether parag gupta sir costing book is sufficient for this nov-14 exam or not.? or i have to do ICAI Study Mat + PM please suggest the good preparation strategy to crack AMA in my first attempt..thanks in adavance..

Reference book of Parag Gupta is very good for costing preparation. However it is not advisable to avoid ICAI Study material or practice manual.

In costing it is very imp to practice questions given in ICAI Study material or in PM. Also refer revision test paper questions.

I would also suggest you to prepare costing theory and focus on conceptual clarity.
