25 November 2016 hello sir /madam i m registering my PAN for the first time, but on INCOME TAX site the status of my PAN is shown as already register and i have also tried option of forgot password but it does'nt work for me, what should i do now?

26 November 2016 You can reset password by giving your email id and phone number, you receive OTP, same to be entered it will activate after 12 hours .

If you have net banking and PAN is registered in bank you can login to income tax.
