20 September 2014 we have come accross the situation where company has only one pan but number of branches with different name.is it possible also the service provider is providing bank account for branch having different name

20 September 2014 There will always be only one PAN irrespective of the no of branch/division a company may have.

27 September 2014 Thanks for your reply Mr. Sanjay. but the thing is the client is registered as "Nitco Pvt Ltd." and they want to bill us in name of Nitco Bulk Cargo Carriers and they want to get paid in Nitco Bulk carrier but they are giving PAN number that of Nitco Pvt Ltd for TDS purposes.

27 September 2014 Its not correct. Take the PAN of the entity whose name is in the bill and make payment to the same entity.
