Pan no is mandatory for raising invoice

If we sell the goods to our party more than Rs.2 lakh, Is PAN mandatoryto mention on invoice for seller and purchase on raised invoice. Pl give the comments

Not mandatory to mention customer pan on invoice but he should collect valid PAN of customer for compliance
