24 July 2014 hi one of our client earned income only by way of salary..but same pan card use by other person and filled income tax since from last 6 years..he use my client pan card filling income tax under business or profession,how can he use my pan card? the contact number mention in the its form also not valid,in this situation what should we do or is there any option for tracking his name?,even we find that person what should we do???plz suggest me is various circumstances...

24 July 2014 first step would be to file the current year's tax return before he can!

then contact the AO stating all the facts. if the returns have been filed online, the computer used to file such returns can be tracked
