i have entered correct PAN then also when i upload the ITR 5 (firm) the following error is shown.

"PAN mentioned in Personal/Verification section is invalid."

What could be the reason ?

20 November 2012 At the time of registering the firm on the e-filing website, you must have mentioned the PAN of the signing partner. The same PAN has to be entered in the verification sheet.

If the signing partner has changed, first update the same on the website and then upload the return.

20 November 2012 i have registered the firm and mentioned firm PAN only. i do not think there is any requirement of partner PAN for firms PAN registration.
