03 June 2010 I have to start a Proprietorship business & want to make a PAN Card on the name of my business, while i have already an individual PAN Card on my name. Is it possible ?

03 June 2010 Dear vijay,

PAN Card is for an individual & a proprietory concern is taxed in the hand of the individual. therefor u cannot have a PAN card or number for ur proprietorship concern seprately, the card for individual will hold good for ur concern.

You and your proprietorship firm are the same person. The same PAN shall be used for proprietorship firm.
