22 February 2012 I APPLIED FOR CHANGE OF RESIDENCE ADDRESS FROM BANGLORE TO DELHI,IN MY PAN CARD.I HAVE RECEIVED THE NEW PAN CARD BUT THE INCOME TAX SITE IS STILL SHOWING THE OLD AO CODE OF KARNATAKA.
WILL MY AO CODE NOT BE CHANGED AND IN THIS CASE IF I FILE RETURN WILL I BE ASSESD IN KARNATAKA?

22 February 2012 if you received the PAN correction allotment letter from new jurisdiction then no issue. website will update later.

23 February 2012 sir, i have just recived the new pan card.but it doent specifically mention any chnage in AO.so i am not sure wht to do?

05 March 2012 I have just uploaded the return for ay-11-12..u/s 139(4) ..although the site is now showing changed address but when i filed the return online..the ITR form is still showing ao code of karnataka jursidiction...but i was told that once the adress wil change i will be given new ao code of delhi jurisdiction..but the same has not happend..now will be assessed by karnataka ao...worried..pls help.
