I had applied for my mother's pan card. i paid fee online.
Then print out of application was sent but copy of aadhar card forgot to send alongwith and application got rejected.
Again i send print out of the same application alongwith copy of aadhar card but still application got rejected.
Now some people said i have to reapply and again have to pay fee.
What is this procedure application got rejected but fee is retained by department.

i dont think there is a concept of refund of application fees if there is no error on the part of the intermediary or the tax department
